About Public Concern for Governance Trust

Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) is a registered trust founded by Mr. Julio Ribeiro, Dr. R.K. Anand and late Mr. B.G. Deshmukh to increase public participation and activism towards creating a more transparent and efficient governance system.

Vaze Model United Nations

Vaze Model United Nations was established in the year 2017 by the then 12th Grade students who wished to bring about change in our college. They wanted to give something back to the college that was shaping them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Hence developing a cycle which accelerated their curiosity to learn and explore more about politics and international relations. A conference organized by the Junior College students for the students of age group varying from 12 to 21 year old, we believe that learning and gaining knowledge is an endless process. Keeping in mind the aims and vision of our founding members we wish to diversify the Vaze MUN legacy.

About the GLC NSS Unit

National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Very appropriately, the motto of NSS is “NOT ME, BUT YOU”. An NSS volunteer places the ‘community’ before ‘self’.

The aim of NSS is developing student’s personality through community service. It install’s the idea of social welfare in students and provides service to society without any bias.

About the Webinar

India’s education system has changed drastically if we look at it from a historical perspective. Currently, India finds itself in a situation where the second rounds of major changes are needed to help the country grow. The Government of India has taken efforts in the contemporary times to achieve the objective of inclusive growth, yet several problems like lack of quality education, corruption in the education field, lack of facilities etc have continued to exist.

  • The NEP 2020
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Role of Educators
  • Inclusive Education
  • Inequality in India’s Education
  • Everyone’s Role in Shaping the Indian Education System.
